Arkansas River closed to recreational activity - KWCH

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Arkansas River is closed to all recreational activity due to the high flow rate.

The city of Wichita said the river will reopen to activity when the flow rate has lessened.

Activities not permitted at this time include swimming, boating, kayaking and canoeing.
