CINCINNATI — I-275 westbound is shut down between the Colerain Avenue exit and the Blue Rock Road exit after a single-vehicle crash, Colerain police said.
A man was traveling westbound on I-275, crossed the median and entered the eastbound lanes, Colerain police said. The man has been taken to the hospital in serious condition.
While speed is a factor, Colerain police said there is no word on what caused the crash.
Both the westbound and eastbound lanes were shut down, but the eastbound lanes are now open, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Traffic on I-275 westbound continues to be diverted off onto Colerain Avenue.
Colerain police does not have an estimated time when I-275 westbound will reopen.

If traveling westbound, Colerain police said you will be routed off onto Colerain Avenue. From there you can go to Ronald Reagan Highway, continue west and jump onto I-275 further down.
This is a developing story and WCPO will update once more information is available.
