The Cañon City High School varsity soccer team won by a score of 10-0 after officials called the game with 27 minutes remaining in the second half at Woodland Park High School on Thursday.
Sophomore Gunnar Phillips made three of the team’s goals as did senior Diego Aparicio. Senior Steven Bottenfield made two goals while one was made by senior Cornelius Henderson and one by junior Jayden Solano.
The Tigers (6-5) will play the Coronado Cougars (6-5) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Citizens’ Stadium.
