You’ll have to see the footage to believe it, but apparently, they are still making Paranormal Activity movies! Who knew? Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin releases on Paramount+ this weekend, making it the 7th movie in the found-footage horror franchise.
Next of Kin features a brand new cast of actors—Emily Bader, Roland Buck III, Dan Lippert, Henry Ayres-Brown, and Tom Nowicki—and will serve as a reboot of the series. Directed by William Eubank, the script is written by Christopher Landon, who also wrote Paranormal Activities 1 through 5, and also recently had success with the Happy Death Day movies. So there’s reason to be hopeful. Plus, it wouldn’t really be Halloween weekend without a new Blumhouse horror flick, now would it?
That said, this is one Blumhouse horror flick that won’t be in theaters. Instead, Paranormal Activity 7 will stream exclusively on Paramount+. Here’s what you need to know about where to watch Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin.
