SERNAGEOMIN recorded a minor explosion showering the summit cone with glowing lava spatter and small ash content. Incandescent material is being ejected to an approximate height of 100 meters above the crater.
Fresh ash deposits on the snow cover generated by explosion are visible in the image.
There is a 500 m exclusion zone around the main crater in place.
