Update 6:45 a.m.: The Onondaga Lake Parkway is open
Liverpool, N.Y. — Both lanes of the Onondaga Lake Parkway were shut down Thursday night after a crash involving a vehicle stolen from Rochester, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches.
The lanes are expected to be closed for up to two hours, according to an alert from the NYS Department of Transportation.
The stolen vehicle was reported to be weaving in and out of traffic, according to dispatches. It was reported to be passing other vehicles and driving into oncoming traffic, according to dispatches.
It was initially unclear if the stolen vehicle was being pursued by police.
The Liverpool Fire Department and AMR Ambulance were dispatched at about 9:10 p.m. to the Parkway just south of the railroad bridge, according to dispatches.
