Fagradalsfjall (Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland): The new eruption, now called the "Geldingadalsgos" eruption by the Icelandic media, continues steadily. It has been producing slowly advancing lava flows inside the Geldingadal valley. The Icelandic Met Office and local news outlets published many new photos from the ongoing eruption this morning.
The isolated location in Geldingadalur valley means there is no immediate danger to any infrastructure. Volcanic gases are not currently being blown over any towns or villages and are unlikely to cause any problems even if the wind changes direction, according to the Icelandic Met Office (IMO).

Cleveland (Aleutian Islands, Alaska): (21 Mar) The alert level of the volcano was raised to yellow again, after the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) detected increased volcanic gas emissions and elevated surface temperatures via satellite data starting from 17 Mar.
"In addition, a local earthquake occurred on 10 Mar and was large enough to be measured on seismometers 100 km away on Umnak Island. These data indicate a potential for increased eruptive activity at Cleveland." (AVO)
The volcano last erupted last June, when an explosion or series of explosions on 2 June produced a small ash cloud to 22,000 ft (7 km) altitude. Explosions from Cleveland typically produce relatively small volcanic ash clouds that dissipate within hours; however, more significant ash emissions are possible.

Pacaya (Guatemala): Explosive activity continues. Volcanic Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) Washington warned about a volcanic ash plume that rose up to estimated 12000 ft (3700 m) altitude or flight level 120 and is moving at 5 kts in E direction.
