Original story: Police activity on San Antonio’s Westside on Thursday morning, December 22, has caused major traffic delays on Loop 410 at Marbach.
Traffic is at a standstill as all southbound and northbound lanes at Highway 90 are closed as of 9 a.m. Vehicles are being diverted off the highway.
Negotiators are talking to a man on the bridge, police said. The situation has been ongoing since 9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21.
San Antonio police announced on Twitter that there is no threat to the public.
The Texas Department of Transportation is asking drivers to find an alternate route. Expect delays in that area.
