The U.S. NIH's COVID-19 OpenData Portal continues tracking the ongoing evolution of the SARS-CoV-2 beta coronavirus and its variants, including Omicron and its sublineages.

Given its recent designation, Omicron / B.1.1.529 therapeutic activity data is currently being reported at a rapid pace.

As of early March 2022, OpenData Portal has compiled an in vitro therapeutic activity database against variants from a prioritized set of publications, scientific preprints, and peer-reviewed studies.

As they become available, screening data from COVID-19 vaccines, antibodies, and antivirals are uploaded to the website. All data on the site come from validated SARS-CoV-2 assays.

These data, which include positive and negative results, can be viewed, sorted, searched, and exported by anyone.

For questions about the COVID-19 OpenData Portal, please email Matt Hall at the NIH.

Separately, the U.S. CDC's Nowcast data projection tool helps fill data gaps by generating timely estimates of variants circulating in the U.S. For regional data, the proportion of the BA.1.1 sublineage is aggregated with B.1.1.529.

Search at this CDC weblink for local information compiled as of March 3, 2022.

PrecisionVaccinations ingests OpenData Portal and NowCast information into its monoclonal antibody and antiviral sections, aggregating the latest news.
