The Eighth Avenue Adult Activity Center will remain closed until July 19.
The center is currently closed for restroom remodeling. Although it had planned on reopening sooner, the date has been pushed back so that crews may finish.
Programming for active adults over the age of 50 has been relocated to the Community Room at the MLK First Responder Campus, located on the 500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The Barbara Gaskin Washington Adult Activity Center is not impacted by the renovations and will continue with normally scheduled programming, according to a social media post from the Ocala Recreation and Parks department.
