The Prince William County Service Authority has published a pair of activity booklets featuring original content designed to educate children about water, wastewater and the environment.

The colorful and engaging publications are part of H2Go Kids, a virtual educational program the Service Authority launched last year in response to COVID-19. Featuring raindrop mascots Drip and Drop, the booklets include coloring pages, word searches, math activities and much more. The Drip book is appropriate for students in kindergarten through third grade, while the Drop book offers activities for students in fourth through sixth grade.

“By engaging in these activities, students will have the opportunity to learn more about the importance of clean water and their role in protecting the environment,” said Ari Nelson, Chief Financial and Business Operations Officer. “We hope these lessons will give them a deeper appreciation of what it takes to make their world a healthier place.”

The Service Authority will distribute the Drip and Drop books at community and school events, and both publications are available to download from h2gokids.org.

In addition to the new activity booklets, the Service Authority offers live and pre-recorded presentations through its H2Go Kids Virtual Classroom. These presentations align with the Virginia Standards of Learning for kindergarten through sixth grade. To request a presentation, please email outreach@pwcsa.org.
