Northbound lanes of Interstate 81 were shut down in Franklin County Wed., June 17, 2020, after a multi-vehicle crash.
UPDATE: The closure was reduced to a lane restriction around 12:44 p.m.
The northern lanes of Interstate 81 are closed to traffic Wednesday afternoon near Chambersburg after a multi-vehicle crash.
Franklin County dispatch said the highway is shut down from exit 17 at Walker Road in Chambersburg, to exit 24 at Fayette Street in Shippensburg.
Dispatchers couldn’t give detail on injuries from the crash.
Pennsylvania State Police and firefighters are at the scene.
