Fatal crash shuts down part of St. Charles Rock Road - KMOV4

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - A fatal accident resulted in one person’s death, two others seriously injured and part of St. Charles Rock Road in St. John to be shut down on Saturday.

The crash was reported just after 8 p.m. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Larry Peeples, 41, of St. Louis, died as a result of the crash. Two vehicles were traveling southbound on I-170 when one struck the back of the other and began to travel off the left side of the road. The vehicle then struck Peeples which resulted in his death. The drivers of the two vehicles were taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The MSHP crash reconstruction team has taken over the investigation.
