China-based company Haier Group’s IT hiring rose 1.1% in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 1.85% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 7.32% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.01% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Haier Group IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Haier Group, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 74.12% in September 2022, and a 26% rise over August 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 11.76% in September 2022, and registered a decline of 44.44%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 7.06% in September 2022, a 50% rise from August 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Haier Group
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 92.94% share, which marked a 2.6% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 7.06%, registering a 100% month-on-month growth.
China commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with an 80% share in September 2022, a 5.56% decline over August 2022. India featured next with a 7.06% share, up 20% over the previous month. US recorded a 7.06% share, an increase of 100% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Haier Group IT hiring activity in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 80%, down by 2.86% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.47% share, a growth of 40% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 2.35% share, flat growth over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.18%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
