As the COVID-19 pandemic has worn on, it has been hard to keep track of what the government has ordered to shut down in Arizona.

After Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey issued a stay-at-home order in late March and then reopened the state in May, Ducey in June made the decision to again shut down bars, gyms, movie theaters and other businesses.

Cities also play a role in decisions to shutter city amenities from parks to libraries. 

Here's a list of what's shut down or restricted as of July 10.

Currently shut down in Arizona:

• Bars.
• Indoor gyms and fitness centers.
• Water parks.
• Inner tubing.
• Movie theaters.

Restricted operations in Arizona:

• Restaurants are open, but dine-in operations are limited to less than 50% capacity.
• Schools are starting late this year, on or after Aug. 17.
• Public gatherings are limited to 50 people.
• Pools are limited to groups of 10.
• Some library systems are open, and some are open for curbside pick-up and drop-off only. Check with your library system for more.
• Some city park playgrounds are shut down. Phoenix parks are shut down, for example. Check with your city for more.

Restrictions lifted in Arizona:

• Stores.
• Hair salons and barbershops.
• Golf courses.
