Clark County’s COVID-19 case rate and activity rate rose this week in the latest data from Clark County Public Health. Three deaths were reported.
Public Health reported 222 additional cases since its last update, for a total of 113,130 cases to date, with a case rate of 38.7 cases per 100,000 over seven days, up from 24.6 the week before.
The three additional deaths brought the total number of deaths from COVID-19 to 1,086 since the pandemic began in 2020.
Hospital admissions were at 6.6 per 100,000 over seven days, up from 3.2 the week before. Public Health reported that 18 percent of hospital beds and 14.6 percent of ICU beds were occupied by people with or suspected of having COVID-19.
Public Health reported that 35 hospital beds were occupied by people with COVID-19, with 49 others awaiting test results to confirm a COVID-19 case.
Hospitals remain crowded, with 96.6 percent of hospital beds and 95.8 percent of ICU beds occupied as of this week, according to Public Health data.
